| After graduation, I was a CUNY student for one year and went to Israel. I loved Israel as soon as I arrived, and studied Musicology at Tel Aviv University. I became a Music Therapist for severely retarded and autistic children, a Music teacher and English teacher in the Israeli school system. After teaching became "too much", I found a nice cosy office job as an import secretary. I love the years when I was a musician, and now, I enjoy being a grandmother working in a nice, quiet office. In Israel I had the opportunity to use many of the skills I learned at PA. School productions, choirs, teaching Israeli children to love music, writing my own Jewish holiday musicals and producing them for Israeli parents were wonderful experiences for me during the years I was teaching and raising my family in Israel. with Blessings from Israel, Susan Heisler (Sieger) | ||
