I danced a while after graduating and then married and had 2 sons. In 1977 I
remarried and raised 2 stepchildren along with mine. We now have 5 grandkids. We
live in Bucks County PA in an old stone farmhouse circa 1860 in the
middle of 10 acres, a far cry from the Big Apple. For the last 15 years I have
worked in my husband's Financial Services Business. Our hobby has been raising
and showing show dogs. We have had over 70 champions
including 5 Am. German European Int'l Champs and 4 Westminster winners. I am now
an A.K.C judge. See you can never really get out of Show Business.

| Moved to Florida with my husband and 2 sons 30
years ago. Was fortunate enough to work in Dinner Theater /Local Rep for
several years and really put some of that good PA training to use. But it
came time to begin earning a "real" living as my boys got older and ready
for college. I work in Telecommunications now, but the meetings I sponsor
can be very "dramatic". If anyone is planning to be in the Boca Raton
area, let me know and we'll have a mini-reunion of our own.

| After p.a., I attended Manhattan School of music for 2
years. I was offered a job with the Festival Casals in Puerto Rico. This
tour was 2 Months and I traveled all over the Island, Playing at Schools and
other public venues. We traveled to Barbados, Trinidad, Caracas and the
Dominican Republic. When I returned home my dad had died and I helped my
Mom run her music school in Brooklyn. I attended N. Y. C. C. and received
my A.A. degree, and L. I. U. where I finished my Bachelors degree in Music
Education. I started my M.A. at N. Y. U. and started to teach Junior High
School Orchestral Music. I was still working at my mom's school as well. I
was also playing weekends in a society-type band. After a while I gave up
teaching Junior High and re-enrolled at N. Y. U. where I earned a degree in
filmmaking. I traveled to Hollywood and worked on the crew of a minor movie starring
Mickey Dolenz, Chuck McCann and Linda Lovelace. It was a spoof. I had some
lines in the movie as well. When I returned home I did a movie directed by
Susan Seidleman. I quit teaching altogether and took a steady job at the
Post Office. Then I married my girlfriend Susan, who was a second grade
teacher in Queens. We have a son and now live in long Island. Susan just
retired and I was offered and early out as well. Haven't made up my mind
yet. Great to be in touch, so to speak with former grads (finally) on the Internet. |

children (my daughter graduated from La Guardia, Rachel, 2000 and my son
Ezra just got into PPA). [He got up to the final call backs, but didn't get
into PA this year.] I am a psychoanalyst and have a practice in New York. I
am also the co-director of a psychoanalytic institute (Mid-Manhattan
Institute mmi.edu) Have fond memories of my days at PA. Drop me a line.

| It is absolutely a shock that we are nearing our 40th year reunion. I'm still amazed that I'm not 27. However...I have been in Los Angeles for 30 years. I was a bandleader and had a music company for 25 years and provided music for private and corporate clients. I have an incredible 16 year old daughter, Jenny. I was in a long term relationship which ended and am now once again dating. A big change in my life is that I am being ordained as a rabbi in May, 2003. I've been a full time student for 5 years, lived in Israel with Jenny for 2 years and have changed my name to my Hebrew name, Yossi. Life is full of surprises. | ||

| First of all: that's NOT my quote; it should be "Every Good Boy Does Fine." Anyway... I live in Pasadena, CA with my wife, Maureen, and our 3 cats. I've been arranging and orchestrating music since I graduated PA for everything from 3 burlesque shows to The Dick Cavett Show to the "gospel" Grammys (in Nashville) to The "real" Grammys (in...wherever they are) to the final Frank, Dean & Sammy Tour--with several movie orchestrations and composing for an off-off Broadway (LA) musical thrown in. I get back to NYC every few years. God, I miss the pizza! |

| For the most part, I do orchestral work. I play "The Phantom
of the Opera," on Broadway. I've performed or recorded for most of the
stellar performers, including Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan,
Lena Horne, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, to name a few. I've toured the US,
Europe, the Middle East and Africa with various artists and orchestras. As I
transit towards retirement, I've begun to teach. I have a studio at home,
and also teach at a private elementary school in Brooklyn.

One afternoon last year I wrote my autobiography and now I am having it illustrated, with an eye toward publishing it. It's called "Princess Mama and Her Two Stupid Husbands." First I married (foolishly) an actor and then I married (foolishly) a musician. Should have married a dancer, but, never again! Today I live happily alone, a stone's throw from PA, and get frequent visits from my terrific son, a college freshman, who brings his dirty laundry home. My son is a physics major, testimony that--as anyone who ever sat in math class with may remember--god moves in mysterious ways. The caption under my yearbook picture says "Then she got on her horse and rode into the sunset," haha, which I did, for a time, living in Utah/Arizona. One of the people I rode with was a writer, and he wrote a good book, which has sold a few million copies, which features a dancer from the Bronx! Who could it be? I wrote about it not so long ago, here: http://www.sierraclub.org/sierra/200209/abbey.asp

| Allan David Gross (Now Allan Wayne) trained in NYC. He
graduated with honors in Tech Theatre from the School of Performing Arts on
46th Street next to Broadway. He immediately began working off Broadway as a
state manager, House manager and sound technician. He toured with some of
Americas premier dance companies including the Joffrey Ballet, Martha Grahams
Company. The Norman Walker Company and Gertrude Schurr and May O'Donnells
Company as a sound technician. He attended the distinguished theatre program at Utah State University where he participated in a bewildering number of productions. After receiving his B.F.A he served in the U.S. Navy. Soon after he rejoined the New York Theatre community working for Ellis Rabb's A.P.A on tour and on Broadway and again with the Joffrey Ballet. In graduate school he received his M.S. in Directing while also qualifying for his M.F.A by directing and defending 4 plays and an opera (Don Pasquale by Donizetti). Soon after he was hired by the Oregon Repertory Theatre as a resident actor and director, with whom he directed 5 shows and acted in four during the next 5 years. He also "guested" and directed 2 more operas for the Eugene Opera Company and Miss Julie at the Playhouse on the Square in Memphis Tennessee. He later began his own production company offering the Doctor. In spite of Himself and Rashomon at the Soreng theatre in Eugene, Oregon (Selling out a 550 seat house.) He has acted in 3 films, done many "Voice Overs" and directed about 40 productions in the U.S., Mexico and Europe. Currently he is preparing A mid-summers night dream for production in the summer of 2003. When not working on this project he works his horse "Opus" (or vice versa) in the mornings outside his glorious hometown of San Miguel Allende Mexico. | After several years in NYC teaching Figure Skating and doing choreography for the Parks Dept., I moved with my husband, son and daughter to Northern New Jersey. There, working for The Playboy Hotel, I met the love of my. My second husband and I ran The Health Club and Activities Department for the Playboy Hotel and had the sponsorship of Vernon Valley/Great Gorge Ski Area for developing our talents. We taught dance, health & fitness, self improvement and had the opportunity to travel all over the world lecturing and teaching. In 1990 we founded the International Ski Dancing Association and began the quest to bring a new art form to the world. I used everything I learned at PA and parlayed that into a creative and rewarding life. I'm grateful for those years and for the years ahead. | ||

I spent three years in the service first in the 328th Army band in Brooklyn and then the 1st US Army Band in Staten Island. I then worked many jobs from a switchman in the phone company to a union projectionist in New York City to Bell Labs in Holmdel New Jersey. All the time still playing music. Now I have my own record company (see my site above) and we're hoping to make it big :)

| I live in Hawaii since May 2000, involved in theatre
constantly (9 shows in the last 3 years) most well known Steel Magnolias,
Over the River, The Dead, Wit, the Vagina Monologues, Fiddler and Morning's
At Seven ...I have traveled and worked all over the US, in Brazil, England,
Sweden, Spain, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Italy, where I had
my daughter, Anais, in 1981, on a hillside overlooking Florence at dawn.
Single parent, I added to my income by going back to school for an R.N.
degree and since 1985 have been juggling theatre, nursing and most
challenging of all, single parenting. My daughter soon to be 22 and a
senior at the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston. My name has been Sharon
Adair since 1970. There's a whole lot of bizarre detail in there...I've had
a wild ride, lots of ups and downs, ins and outs, and yada...now I'm to be
56 on 8/4 and loving Hawaii. It's so beautiful and guess what...water round
almost every turn, over almost every hill...that's what I love the
most....and the Aloha. I just produced 'On Golden Pond' and will be
directing "The Trip to Bountiful' in the spring. A hui ho....Sharon (Sherry Saxe) |

| After PA, I attended the University of WI-LaCrosse (city pop., 45,000). After B.S. degree (1968), 2 yrs. military, then completed MSW and Ph.D. at UW-Milwaukee. Married x1, one child (son,29 y/o, Accountant, Chicago); married x2 (21 yrs. interfaith [Jewish], daughter, 18, college student; son, 14, middle school). Practiced as a social worker/marriage & family therapist for 25 yrs. In 1995, joined the social work faculty at UW-M (currently, Associate Professor), and still maintain a small private clinical practice, and provide training and consultation in multicultural mental health to educators and health/social service providers. Gave up playing music after college. Now enjoy listening to good jazz and classical music, attending theater arts (dance, plays). Enjoy spending time with family and friends. Time at PA (education and friendships), remains one of my most precious and memorable experiences, as it opened a new world for me. Hope to see some of you in the near future. Be well to all of you. | ||
