Started our own company in 1981 - The Casting Company. My Partner and I have written a book that Harcourt is publishing. "A Star is Found" will be available November 1, 2006. So nice to reconnect after 40 years! For the past 19 I have been teaching at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I am now directing the dance program, but also teach a lot of yoga both on and off-campus; I studied at the Kripalu Institute in western Mass. I did do some professional performing in NY before starting college - a season at the Brooklyn Ballet, nine months in the Radio City Ballet Co., an off-Broadway show and a stint of night club dancing. I got my undergraduate degree in Iowa, where I also married and raised two children, Nan and Dan. My MFA was from Smith in Mass. I'm the author of three books, the latest being "Appreciating Dance: A Guide to the World's Liveliest Art." The third edition is published by Princeton Book Co; it is being used in both high school and college dance appreciation classes. Wishing good health to my classmates....Harriet |

| Terry (Quaranto) Sweeny | ||
| I Live in Florida. I have been here for 8 years. I had three loves in my life, (Children and Grandchildren not included). They are on another list. My first love of course is my dancing, so I had my own school for 20 years on Long Island. My Second Love was boating and the sea. So 16 Years ago I went to boot camp and I am a boatswain mate 2nd class, known as petty officer Sweeny, U. S. Coast Guard. I just re-enlisted for 4 more years so I can get my 20 years service completed. My third love was animals, so when I moved to Florida I decided to open a small pet shop and got my certification as a vet's nutritionist. There is not enough time for all we want to accomplish!!!!!. I attended the re-union last June and I'm trying to get a list of all Florida people so we can have one here also. | ||

Universal Studios and left after 8 years to do off-site catering (you should
see the inside of some of these homes!), Owned my own food brokerage firm
for two years (hated it) and am now working for Otis Spunkmeyer (largest
frozen sweet baked goods company). I have a fabulous son, who is an
engineer and is married to a doctor(!) with 2 yummy grandkids. I am also Presidentt of the So. Cal Roundtable for Food Professionals. Whew AND I MISS ALL MY P.A. FRIENDS. That was some of the VERY best years of my life!. Yup still dancing for fun and still love to be in front of a crowd. Also still blond (with a little help now). Love seeing where we have all gone and done. Sending hugs . |
