| Four years in United States Air Force 1954-1958. 34 years in radio as a broadcaster/on-air personality/program director. Still doing some freelance at a nostalgia station in west michigan. Look me up at www.980.com/ I'm under air staff as Ralph Grant - my professional name in radio. I've spent the last ten years at Davenport University in Kalamazoo, MI in student services. I have three adult children ages 42, 40 and 35. My hobbies include a lifetime passion in photography-- currently taking a college class in Photoshop; crewing on racing sailboats; golf; and travel. I have been to Italy three times, China, Ireland, and Spain and plan to visit eastern Europe next May. I couple my travel, radio experience and photography by presenting travelogues to service clubs, seniors groups and other local organizations. I was a music major at PA studying piano and played tuba in our symphonic band. Homerooom teacher was Mr. Lash, Band director was a Mr. Kaufmann as I recall. My best friend was Stanley Beck who was studying acting at the time. Anyone know of him? Also had a young Puerto Rican boy attending who had a part in the film "Blackboard Jungle". Raphael Campos was his name. I believe Susan Strassberg was one year behind me. My private teacher was Santos Ojeda who was a very well respected Cuban pianist/teacher. Anyone remember me? | ||
