choreographer, singer and extraordinary entertainer who passed away on July 4,
1998.

| Gail Lichtenstein Daitch (PA 56) Special Instrument Repair (Purchase) Fund
(this has been used to repair especially valuable instruments) (With the help of
this fund, the school’s vintage Heckel bassoons have been restored and are being
played by students).

dept. who remains an respected advisor for LaGuardia’s drama dept.)

student who has had to overcome a disability of some kind in order to go to
college". Odette was a music major who died in 2000).

attend summer program) (Named for the great dancer and choreographer who died in

left LaGuardia after almost 30 years, the legendary M&A 63 graduate has
influenced the lives of thousands of young musicians and continues to conduct
two major youth orchestras in NYC).
